2021 Season Update
As of January 25, 2021, the Lake Olympia Tiger Sharks plan to have a swim season. The league hasn't made any announcements yet, but we're hopeful for some good news soon! In the meantime, be safe, stay healthy and get ready to have fun and swim fast with the Tiger Sharks this summer!
Meet of Champions = All Stars!
Meet of Champions - Monday July 6th

There will be no relays. We need 18 timers and 2 Stroke Judges to sign up to help. Stroke Judges must be trained as of 2019. Click here to sign up as an 11 & Up Meet of Champions Volunteer.

Virtual Team Photo
We are still collecting photos of your swimmers in their team shirts. We prefer one swimmer in the photo so we can make a collage. This will only work if we have your help! You can email your photos to [email protected] or upload them to the shared Google Album located here.
With the Governor's new executive order in place, times taken at MOC will count as All Star entries. We do not need to declare absences any longer as we do not need to turn in athlete entries in advance.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. There is a board member in the breezeway at the pool during every practice. We're there to help!
Howdy Tiger Sharks, We have some AMAZING news! It looks like a 2020 swim season is going to happen!!! Although the season will look a bit different than seasons past, we are very excited to have this great opportunity with all that is going on in the world!!! Can you imagine having our kids off electronics and now SWIMMING?!?!
This season we are going to focus on fun and getting the kids out of the house and amongst their friends, safely, of course.
We will practice DAILY, M-F, with inter-squad meets on Monday mornings during practice times. (Our team only.).
Practices will start on JUNE 1, 2020.
We will follow all guidelines to maintain social distancing and swimmer safety. The bathrooms will be closed except for EMERGENCIES ONLY. If a swimmer uses the restroom, they must use hand sanitizer before reentering the pool.
We will enter through the front gate and exit out of the side gate to avoid too many people at one time. Parents will NOT BE ALLOWED on the deck AT ANY TIME. You can stay outside of the gates to observe, but you must still practice social distancing.
We will have Board Members at the pool to help facilitate drop off and pick up. Because of the laid back nature of the season, there will be no new suits to buy this year. We require your child wear a swimsuit, but any are fine. (Girls must wear a one piece.) We will be designing a fun t-shirt this year for all the swimmers. We will not be offering any personalized options or dri fit. (If you have already placed an order for any of these, we will be providing refunds.). There will be no pictures this year, as well.
Please keep in mind, we still have coaches to pay and a pool to maintain. We are honoring the Early Bird prices for this season. Due to the extenuating circumstances of the season, we do not have the sponsors we normally depend on. We are asking any families that are willing to provide sponsorships for the team, please consider it.
We will be sending out additional waivers, as we receive them. They will be REQUIRED before swimmers can enter the deck area. Several swim teams in our area are not going to be having a 2020 season. Please sign up as soon as possible. Due to COVID guidelines, our numbers will be limited.
Please note, if your child is not able to cross the pool, unassisted, they will not be allowed to swim. The first day of practice, this will be determined. Remember, once we hit the water, NO FULL REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. If you are at all reluctant that your swimmer will not make it across the pool on day 1, you may want to consider waiting until next season. This is for safety reasons for your swimmer as well as our coaches.
PLEASE REMEMBER- IF YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL, PLEASE STAY HOME!! If anyone in the swimmer's home is displaying possible COVID symptoms, please stay home. This year's season will look different from seasons past, but it will be a lot of fun, with little stress. We are staying on top of any guidelines as they change and evolve. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. We realize this may not be an ideal situation, but hope that it will be fun for the kids. Stay well and hope to see you all June 1,
Early Bird Registration is OPEN!
Welcome to the Lake Olympia Tiger Sharks! We're looking forward to a great 2020 swim season and we're glad your family will be a part of it!
Early Bird prices are 1st swimmer $110/$85 for additional swimmers.
Once Early Bird ends on 4/15/20, prices go up to $135/$105. This year, we are extending Early Bird prices throughout the registration process.
Please make sure and log in to your Swimtopia account on this website if you are a returning family to have your information loaded into the system for you. We are no longer accepting checks for registration fees.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a SWIM team, NOT a learn to swim team. There will be two Time Trials. At the time of the second time trial on 5/26/20, if your swimmer cannot swim across the pool unassisted, they will be ineligible for Lake Olympia Swim Team.
Practices are tentatively scheduled to begin May 4! We can't wait to see all of our fellow Tiger Sharks back out at the pool!
